First Activity in Didim - START

First activity in Didim has started very well.

The 1st day included name games, country presentations, and the main meaning was get to know each others. All participants gave their experience about environment from countries involved in the project. During the Cozy cafe, participants briefly talked about environmental ethical questions. So, this very important theme was our task during this first day: getting to know each other so this activityt week could be as nice as possible. :)

We started our 2nd day with a workshop named "Good tips for landscape photography". Photographing is one part of this project, because with photos and videos we can enjoy about our beautiful nature as much as possible.

With the presentation about recycling plastics, the participants got lot more information about plastics and how to recycle them so they will not harm our environment. By the way, did You know that there is seven different types of plastic and every one of them has a special way how they are recycled?

After presentations and luch it was time to go out. All the participants went to the local beach "Forest Camp" to clean the environment from all rubbish. For example cans, bottles, pens, ropes, plastics, cartoons and pieces of glass were collected by all participants.

After this long day it was time to enjoy: We watched together a Turkish movie called Efekoy. The movie tells about environmental issues in the little village in Turkey. We definitely recommend!
